Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find 78-year-old Winnie Fung who was last seen near her home in the area of Main Street and East 36th Avenue at around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. She suffers from dementia and may appear confused.
Ms. Fung only speaks Cantonese. She is Asian, 5’1″ tall, with a thin build, and has short, curly grey hair. She was last seen wearing small pink earrings, a red jacket over a blue and white checkered shirt, black pants, and carrying a black purse across her body.
Anyone who sees Winnie Fung is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with her until police arrive.
The VPD is asking for the public’s help to locate 75-year-old Graydon McMurdo. Mr. McMurdo has dementia and was last seen this morning at 3:30 near Haro and Bute Street in Vancouver’s West End.
McMurdo is 5’11” tall, has a heavy build with a protruding belly, and is balding with white hair. He was last seen wearing a green hat, white suspenders under a green jacket, khaki pants, and beige runners.
Graydon McMurdo is likely sitting down resting and may appear confused. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until first responders arrive.
Vancouver Police are requesting the public’s help to locate a missing elderly man with Alzheimer’s.
Seventy-nine-year-old Gary Coburn was last seen today around noon walking westbound on East 22nd Avenue from Victoria Drive. He may be trying to make his way back to the area of his home near East 12th Avenue and Main Street. He is capable of walking long distances and likes to frequent coffee shops.
Mr. Coburn is white, 5’5″ tall, has a medium build, short grey hair, and he wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a white, short-sleeved shirt, khaki pants, sandals with white socks, and he is wearing an Alzheimer’s identity bracelet.
Mr. Coburn may appear confused or disoriented. If you see him, please call 9-1-1 and stay with him until help arrives.
Police are searching for a missing woman with Dementia who has not been seen since yesterday afternoon.
Fifty-nine-year-old Elaine Desjarlais was last seen outside of the Downtown Eastside Seniors’ Centre located at 509 East Hastings Street around noon on Monday, March 13th. Ms. Desjarlais suffers from Dementia, and may appear confused.
Elaine is Aboriginal, 5’3” tall, weighs 200 lbs and has brown jaw-length hair. She was wearing a grey zip-up sweater with an orange top underneath.
Anyone who sees Elaine Desjarlais, or knows her whereabouts, is asked to call 9-1-1.
Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing elderly woman with dementia.
Eighty-year-old Lee Jewitt left her residence near Hudson Street and Southwest Marine Drive around noon today and has not been heard from since. Lee has recently moved to Vancouver and may be disoriented. She may not remember her name or address.
Lee is described as white, 5’6″ tall, with a heavy build and grey hair in a long pony tail. It is not known what she was wearing, but is likely not dressed appropriately for the weather. Lee walks slowly with a limp.
A search of the area around her home, along with checks of local hospitals, cab companies, transit, and other police agencies have failed to turn up any sign of Ms. Jewitt. She has gone missing before and has been located in the Marpole area of Vancouver.
Anyone who sees Lee Jewitt is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately, ask for police and ambulance, and stay with her until officers arrive.

Eighty-one-year-old Shal Don “Donald” Kwan was last seen Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. leaving a restaurant in Chinatown. Mr. Kwan’s family became worried for his well-being when he didn’t return to his home in the area of Nanaimo Street and East 1st Avenue. He is believed to be driving his gold-coloured Buick Rendezvous, with BC licence plate 713ERK.
Mr. Kwan is Asian, 5’1″ tall, with a slim build, and balding black hair. He was last seen wearing a beige ball-cap, a grey jacket, light grey pants, and black boots.
Donald Kwan speaks Cantonese and very little English.
Anyone who sees Donald Kwan or his vehicle, is asked to call 9-1-1.
Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing elderly man with dementia.
Eighty-two-year-old Lenard Horton was last seen in the area of Oak Street and West 12th Avenue at 3:30 Sunday afternoon, when he went out for a walk and didn’t return. Mr. Horton recently moved to Vancouver from Surrey, and due to his dementia, he may attempt to return to his previous home.
Mr. Horton is a white, 5’8″ tall, with a thin build, white hair, and a grey beard. He was last seen wearing a red vest over a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and was carrying a white shopping bag. He is unsteady on his feet, but is able to walk unaided.
Anyone who sees Lenard Horton is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until police arrive.
Seventy-four-year-old Naiheng Guan left his home in the area of Kingsway Avenue and Joyce Street around 1 p.m. this afternoon. He was expected back within the hour, but has yet to return.
Mr. Guan suffers from dementia, may appear confused or disoriented, and is unlikely to ask for assistance. He is capable of walking long distances.
He is Asian, 5’7″ tall, and has a slim build. He has short grey hair, grey stubble on his face, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey cap, a brown jacket, black pants, and black shoes. He may be wearing a name tag around his neck. Mr. Guan only speaks Mandarin.
