Vancouver Police are searching for eighty-five-year-old Hua Hai Mai, who was last seen in the 1500 block of East 57th Avenue around 11 a.m.

He is Asian, 5’9″ tall, has a skinny build, and short black hair.  He walks using a brown cane. He was likely wearing a black blazer, dress pants and white runners. Mr. Mai suffers from Dementia.

He likes to take transit and has a bus pass with his name, address and phone number on it on a lanyard around his neck.

Mr. Mai speaks Cantonese and does not speak English.

Anyone who sees Hua Hai Mai is asked to call 9-1-1.

She is white, has a medium build, a dark brown ponytail, and she wears glasses. When last seen, she was wearing a black and white striped top and dark pants.

Patricia may have headed to her old home on Moberly Road near False Creek.

New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 73 year old Leticia Alvaro. Mrs. Alvaro is an elderly Filipino female standing approximately 4’10 inches tall with a medium build, and short black and grey hair. Mrs. Alvaro has Alzheimer’s, is diabetic, and has previously gone missing.

Mrs. Alvaro was last seen today at about 10:00am at a business in the 500 block of 6th Street, wearing a grey sweater, grey pants, and a red or green jacket, with white tennis shoes.

“Our patrol officers are actively looking for Mrs. Alvaro, and we are asking for the public’s assistance to help find her,” stated Media Relations Officer Acting Sergeant Jeff Scott.

Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing man with Alzheimer’s.

Seventy-one year-old Takayoshi Nakayama was last seen around 4 p.m. on March 6th in the area of Renfrew Street and Grandview Highway.

He is Asian, 5’4″ tall, weighs 150 lbs., has brown eyes and short grey hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a black blazer, dark green shoes and a green hat.

Mr. Nakayama is fit, likes to walk and also uses transit.

Anyone who sees Takayoshi Nakayama is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until police arrive.

The Oceanside RCMP is looking for public’s assistance in locating missing Bowser man, James Roberts.

81 year old James Roberts was last seen on February 4th, leaving his residence in Bowser near the Lighthouse Community Centre at 10:30 a.m. James Roberts suffers from Dementia and left on foot in an unknown direction. He is quite possibly disoriented.

Description of James Roberts: Caucasian, 6 foot 2 tall, slender, short grey hair, green eyes.

Wearing: Blue jeans, green jacket, brown and white hat, and glasses.

Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing elderly man with Alzheimer’s.

Seventy-six-year-old Albert Folsom walked away from his care home near West 16th Avenue and Blenheim Street shortly before 6:00 pm this evening.

Mr. Folsom is white, 5’6″ tall, with a medium build and greying brown hair. He was wearing a black and white checkered flannel shirt, blue jeans and did not have a coat. Albert does have a transit pass and is known to take the bus.

A search of the area, along with checks of local hospitals, transit and other police jurisdictions has failed to turn up any sign of the missing man.

Anyone who sees Albert Folsom is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately and stay with him until officers arrive.

Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing elderly man.

Seventy-three year old George Edwards was noticed missing from his care home on West Pender near Homer Street at 6:00 pm this evening. He was last seen at about 12:00 noon.

Mr. Edwards is described as white with a slim build, grey hair and walks slightly hunched over. He was last seen wearing a beige jacket.

George suffers from dementia and schizophrenia.

Area searches around his care home along with checks of local hospitals, transit, and other police jurisdictions have failed to locate the missing man. Police believe there may have been an earlier sighting of him on the seabus, but that has not yet been confirmed.

Anyone who sees George Edwards is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately and keep an eye on him until officers arrive.

Shortly after 2:00 this afternoon,  5’7” tall with a medium build, short grey hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a red plaid shirt, brown pajama top, jeans and a blue backpack. He also has one of his arms in a sling.

Area searches and checks of transit, taxis, and other police jurisdictions have failed to turn up any signs of the missing man.

Anyone who sees Leonard Ruminski is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately, ask for police and ambulance and stay with him until officers arrive.

The Salmon Arm RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Salmon Arm resident.

76 year old Mildred Ekren was last seen December 7, 2015 at around 7:00 a.m. this morning at her residence in the area of 5th Street and 10th Avenue. Police are very concerned for Mildred Ekren’s health and well-being as she suffers from the onset of dementia.

  • Lean to medium build
  • Wearing green long sleeve t-shirt, blue jeans and brown hiking boots
  • Brown short hair

Graham was last seen on November 27th at 1 p.m. in Central park in Burnaby. The Burnaby RCMP and Graham’s family are concerned for his well-being and anyone with information is urged to contact the Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922.
