CANCELLED: Vancouver Police report she has been located

The Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 81-year-old woman who was last seen this afternoon on Vancouver’s Westside.

Jenny Russell left home today at around 2:00 p.m. near West 5th Avenue and Blanca Street. Mrs. Russell has dementia and has not returned to her residence. Her absence is out of character and her family is concerned for her well-being.

Mrs. Russell is white female, 5’5″ tall, has a medium build, and shoulder length grey hair. She wears prescription glasses, and was last seen possibly wearing grey pants.

Anyone who sees Jenny Russell is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with her until first responders arrive.

CANCELLED: Missing 92 y/o male Ting Leung with Dementia

Cancelled: VPD reports subject located in Richmond

Vancouver Police are searching for 92-year-old Ting Leung. Mr. Leung suffers from dementia and hearing loss. He was last seen 3 days ago.

Mr. Leung is an Asian Male, 5’8″ tall, weighs 150 pounds, and is balding with grey hair. He was last seen wearing a blue ball cap, dark blue jacket, and light grey hiking boots. He uses an aluminium pole with a blue cloth handle as a cane.

Mr. Leung was last seen on June 13th, 2018 at 8:30 p.m. and was reported missing to the VPD this afternoon. He is known to frequent the Carnegie Centre Library and various casinos which are accessible by transit. Mr. Leung does not drive and does not have a cell phone.

Anyone who sees Mr. Leung is asked to stay with him and call 9-1-1 immediately.

CANCELLED: Missing 85 y/o Howard Venus near Delta Hospital

CANCELLED: Confirmed located by Delta Police

Delta Police are asking the public for assistance in locating Howard Venus, last seen at 10:45 am, May 20 dropping off a family member at Delta Hospital.

Mr. Venus is six feet tall, and approximately 170 pounds. He was driving a 2012 grey Ford Escape. He is bald, clean shaven, and was last seen wearing a grey jacket, blue t-shirt and beige pants.

“Police and his family are very concerned for Howard Venus,” says Cris Leykauf, spokesperson for Delta Police. “Howard may appear to be disoriented, as he has recently begun experiencing memory loss.”

CANCELLED: Confirmed found by Vancouver Police

Vancouver Police are asking the public to help locate 60-year-old Shakti Chand, last seen walking in the area of East 49th Avenue and Knight Street just after 6 a.m. this morning.

Mr. Chand has dementia, and he may be confused and disoriented. He is a South Asian male, 5’5” tall, 180 pounds with very short black hair, and brown eyes. Mr. Chand was last seen wearing a grey fleece jacket, brown pants, and no shoes.

If you see Mr. Chand please stay with him and call 9-1-1 immediately.

CANCELLED: Missing 91 y/o Parduman Hundal near Laurel Street and West 12th Avenue Vancouver

Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help in locating missing Parduman Hundal. He is 91-years-old, has dementia, and was last seen today at 4 p.m. attending a medical appointment near Laurel Street and West 12th Avenue.

Mr. Hundal is South Asian, 5’4”, 132 lbs, has a short grey beard and uses hearing aids. He was last seen wearing a bright blue turban, a black windbreaker jacket, and grey pants.

Mr. Hundal speaks English, and has mobility issues causing him to rely on his four-wheeled black walker to get around. He is overdue for his required medication and his family is concerned for his well-being.

Anyone who sees Parduman Hundal is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until first responders arrive.

Coquitlam – The Coquitlam RCMP responded to a missing person report on March 29th, 2018. Allan Ryder was last seen on March 29th at his family residence in Coquitlam.

Allan Ryder is described as:

  •  89 Year old Caucasian Male
  •  Grey Balding hair
  •  5’10 tall, and 166lbs
  •  Blue eyes
  •  Last seen wearing a blue jacket, and a dark slouch flat cap

He was last seen leaving his residence driving his Grey 2006 Mazda 5 with BC license plates “RCR322”

The VPD is requesting the public’s help to locate a missing elderly man with dementia. Seventy-year-old Henry Holst was last seen yesterday just before 6 p.m. in the area of Main Street and East Hastings Street in Vancouver.

Mr. Holst is white, 5’5″ tall, 130 lbs, with grey balding hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, white and blue striped polo shirt, and black pants.
