Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing elderly man with Alzheimer’s.
Seventy-six-year-old Albert Folsom walked away from his care home near West 16th Avenue and Blenheim Street shortly before 6:00 pm this evening.
Mr. Folsom is white, 5’6″ tall, with a medium build and greying brown hair. He was wearing a black and white checkered flannel shirt, blue jeans and did not have a coat. Albert does have a transit pass and is known to take the bus.
A search of the area, along with checks of local hospitals, transit and other police jurisdictions has failed to turn up any sign of the missing man.
Anyone who sees Albert Folsom is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately and stay with him until officers arrive.
