Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing elderly man with dementia.
Eighty-two-year-old Lenard Horton was last seen in the area of Oak Street and West 12th Avenue at 3:30 Sunday afternoon, when he went out for a walk and didn’t return. Mr. Horton recently moved to Vancouver from Surrey, and due to his dementia, he may attempt to return to his previous home.
Mr. Horton is a white, 5’8″ tall, with a thin build, white hair, and a grey beard. He was last seen wearing a red vest over a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and was carrying a white shopping bag. He is unsteady on his feet, but is able to walk unaided.
Anyone who sees Lenard Horton is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until police arrive.
