Vancouver Police are asking for help to find a 92-year-old man who went missing Sunday from the city’s West Side.
James Jamieson walked away from his care home in the area of King Edward Avenue and Arbutus Street around 10:45 a.m. on May 26 and has not been seen since. Mr. Jamieson has dementia, among other health challenges, and is without important medication that he takes daily. Police and Mr. Jamieson’s family are concerned for his safety.
Mr. Jamieson is white, about 5’10,” has an average build, and grey hair. He has a Scottish accent, is missing part of a middle finger, and uses a walker. He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, dark pants, and white shoes. This is not the first time Mr. Jamieson has gone missing, and he has previously been found wandering near West 4th Avenue in Vancouver.
