Vancouver Police Search For Missing Elderly Man With Dementia
Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 85-year-old man who was last seen this afternoon in East Vancouver.
Gerard Poulin has not been seen since about 2 p.m. today, when he was walking in the area of East 22nd Avenue and Rupert Street. He is known to walk long distances and has ties to the West side of Vancouver. Mr. Poulin has a brain injury, dementia, and it is unlikely he would be able to find his way home or communicate his need for assistance.
Mr. Poulin is caucasian, with a slim build, and short, grey, balding hair. He was last seen carrying a black briefcase and wearing glasses, a beige, long sleeve dress shirt, and black pants with white runners.
Anyone who sees Gerard Poulin is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately and stay with him until help arrives.
