Missing 75 y/o Feng Qin ZHOU in Richmond

Richmond RCMP continues to search for missing Richmond resident, 75-year old Feng Qin ZHOU. ZHOU was reported missing by her daughter on November 20, 2019 and was last seen around 1 p.m. in the 7000 block of Firbridge Way on November 20th, 2019.

Since the investigation began, multiple officers have been tasked in the search effort with local Richmond RCMP assets assisted by the specialized units from the Lower Mainland Tactical Troop, the Lower Mainland Integrated Police Dog Services, and the Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team and Integrated Air Services.

We have received assistance from community partners at the Canadian Coast Guard, Surrey Search and Rescue, Richmond Fire Rescue, the City of Richmond, Richmond Block Watch, and local media outlets.

We continue to receive tips from the community and officers continue to comb and process gigabytes of video data.

The Richmond RCMP are actively searching the southern portion of Richmond.

ZHOU is described as:

  • 75 years of age
  • Asian woman
  • 157 cm (5’ 2) tall
  • Brown eyes
  • White hair
  • Only speaks Mandarin
  • Last seen wearing a pink long sleeve shirt, long black hooded coat, black pants, and pink shoes
  • May appear confused or disoriented

We are working around the clock to locate Mrs. Zhou. We really appreciate the continued assistance from our community partners and the outpouring of support from the community say Inspect Sunny Parmar, Operations Officer, Richmond RCMP. If anyone has seen Mrs. Zhou, please contact your locale police immediately adds Insp. Parmar.

My mom has been missing almost five days since November 20, 2019 in Richmond. I appreciate it alot for RCMP’s quick reactions, close investigations, and highly professional performances, which make me feel trusting and at ease and makes me believe that there will be a promising good news for my mom in near future. I also appreciate all the volunteers from the communities in Greater Vancouver, who helped me by searching for my mom day and night during these distressed and helpless days. I never imagined that there are so many people in Greater Vancouver that have provided me so many unselfish contributions. I also appreciate everyone who has cared about my mom and all witness who provided me with valuable information about my missing mom to the RCMP says Julie Zhou, daughter of Feng Qin Zhou.
