CANCELLED: Located safe, confirmed by Vancouver Police

Vancouver Police are requesting public assistance in locating a missing 55-year-old man who was last seen yesterday afternoon in Vancouver.

Kenneth Trainor left his care home just before 3:30 p.m. near Cambie Street and West Pender Ave. His disappearance for this long is out of character, Mr. Trainor suffers from dementia, psychosis and other health issues that put him at risk. He has also not taken his medication and may appear confused.

Mr. Trainor is white, with a slender build. He is 5’7” tall, 158 lbs, with grey short hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a short sleeved light plaid button up shirt and dark jeans. Mr. Trainor generally travels on foot.

Anyone who sees Mr. Trainor is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately and stay with him until police arrive.
