Vancouver Police are asking the public for help to locate a vulnerable man who disappeared earlier today from his East Vancouver neighbourhood.

King Cheung, 79, hasn’t been seen or heard from since 3 p.m. Thursday, when he left his home near Joyce Street and Kingsway Avenue, in the Killarney area. Police and Mr. Cheung’s family are concerned for his safety.

Mr. Cheung speaks only Cantonese. He walks with a limp, but is quite fit and frequents Kensington Park. He may appear confused, as a result of dementia.

Mr. Cheung is approximately 5’ tall, with a slim build and short salt-and-pepper hair. He is a smoker, and hasn’t shaved for a couple of weeks, so he may appear scruffy. He was last seen dressed in a beige t-shirt and dark pants.

Anyone who sees Mr. Cheung should call 911 immediately so he can be safely returned home.

Vancouver Police are asking for help to find a 92-year-old man who went missing Sunday from the city’s West Side.

James Jamieson walked away from his care home in the area of King Edward Avenue and Arbutus Street around 10:45 a.m. on May 26 and has not been seen since. Mr. Jamieson has dementia, among other health challenges, and is without important medication that he takes daily. Police and Mr. Jamieson’s family are concerned for his safety.

Mr. Jamieson is white, about 5’10,” has an average build, and grey hair. He has a Scottish accent, is missing part of a middle finger, and uses a walker.  He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, dark pants, and white shoes.  This is not the first time Mr. Jamieson has gone missing, and he has previously been found wandering near West 4th Avenue in Vancouver.

Anyone who sees James Jamieson is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until police arrive.

Vancouver Police are requesting public assistance to locate a missing elderly man with dementia, who has not been seen or heard from since 5:00 p.m. Saturday.

Donald Wright, 90, was last seen leaving his home near Drake Street and Pacific Boulevard, in Yaletown, on May 11. His disappearance is out of character, and Mr. Wright may appear confused.

Mr. Wright frequents shops in Yaletown, and sometimes walks across the Cambie Bridge toward West Broadway.

Mr. Wright is white, with a fair complexion. He is 5’ 8″ with a slender build, shoulder-length grey hair, and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark blue long-sleeved shirt with white spots, black jeans, and a grey and white toque.

Anyone who sees Donald Wright is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately and stay with him until police arrive.

Vancouver Police are asking the public to help locate a missing elderly man, who may be confused due to a recent head injury and the early onset of dementia.

Fred Tew, a 93-year-old Vancouver man, was last seen today just before 10 a.m., at a bus stop in front of the Esso gas station at Burrard and Davie Street. It is not known if he was picked up by a bus or not.

Mr. Tew is white,  5’7” tall, has blue eyes, and is bald with a bandage on his scalp. He was last seen wearing a dark blue baseball hat, light blue leather jacket, dark grey sweater, blue pants, and blue shoes.

Anyone who sees Mr. Tew is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until police arrive.

The Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 91-year-old man who was last seen this morning on Vancouver’s Westside.

Edmond Marks, who is partially blind and suffers from dementia, left his home today at around 9 a.m., near Cambie Street and 10th Avenue. Mr. Marks has not been seen or heard from since.  It is unusual for him to be gone for this long.

Mr. Marks walks with a silver cane, and is known to head to local grocery stores and shops near his home. He is white, 5’4″ tall, with a slim build, and short grey hair. Mr. Marks was last seen carrying a black canvass bag and wearing a black jacket, black pants, tan-yellow shoes, glasses, and a black cap.

Anyone who sees Edmond Marks is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until first responders arrive.

Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing elderly woman with dementia, who was last seen this afternoon on Vancouver’s East side.

Eighty-year-old Therese Mongrain, also known as Therese Massiotte, was last seen today just after 1:30 p.m., walking near Walden Street and East 36th Avenue. Although slow, Ms. Mongrain likes to walk long distances.

Ms. Mongrain is 5 feet tall with a slim build, and short white hair. She was last seen wearing a blue sequined hat, dark pants, a dark shirt, and thin, black-rimmed glasses. Ms. Mongrain is French-Canadian but speaks English.

Anyone who sees Therese Mongrain, is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately and stay with her until first responders arrive.

Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find 96-year-old Trevor Kavanagh, who was last seen early this evening near Vancouver General Hospital.

Mr. Kavanagh left VGH at around 4:45 p.m. and was last seen walking near West Broadway and Laurel Street. He has dementia and requires medication.

Mr. Kavanagh is white,  5’2″ tall, has a slim build, and balding white hair. He is believed to be wearing a brown sweater and black pants. He uses a cane and has a hearing aid hanging around his neck.

Anyone who sees Trevor Kavanagh is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until first responders arrive.

Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 84-year-old Norman Joe. He has Alzheimer’s and was last seen at 11 a.m. on Tuesday near Cambie Street and West 45th Avenue.

Mr. Joe is Asian, 5’10”, has a medium build,  gray hair and primarily speaks Cantonese. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black hat, and was using his cane.

Vancouver Police are requesting the public’s help to locate a missing Elderly man with dementia.

Eighty-six-year old Ean Taulu was last seen at 10:30 this morning after he was dropped off for an appointment near Burrard Street and Helmcken Street. Mr. Taulu may appear confused and requires daily medication.

Mr. Taulu is white, 5’5″ tall, has a thin build and short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a plaid or checkered black long sleeved shirt, grey pants and black shoes.  He walks with a pronounced hunch and uses a purple walking stick.

If anyone sees Ean Taulu, please call 9-1-1 immediately and stay with him until police arrive.
